Disney has formally launched the primary Mufasa: The Lion King trailer for the upcoming prequel to 2019’s The Lion King. Moonlight director Barry Jenkins is directing the movie from a script by Jeff Nathanson. Walt Disney Studios Movement Photos will launch the film solely in theaters on December 20, 2024.
