Daniel Day-Lewis is popping out of retirement to star in a brand new film directed by his son.
The three-time Academy Award-winning actor is ready to star in Anemone, marking his first on-screen position since 2017.
Daniel Day-Lewis co-wrote the movie together with his son, Ronan Day-Lewis, who’s making his directorial debut. In keeping with The Hollywood Reporter, the script “explores household bonds, particularly these involving fathers, sons and brothers.”
Alongside Day-Lewis, the forged consists of Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley and Safia Oakley-Inexperienced.
Day-Lewis beforehand introduced his retirement from appearing following the discharge of The Phantom Thread in 2017.
